The Bhagavad Gita

The infinite wisdom of the 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita
contains the essence of all the four Vedas and the Upanishads.
The message of the Bhagavad Gita is broad, universal and sublime
and is meant for the people of the entire world. It has a message of
solace, freedom, salvation, perfection and peace for all.

A tribute to Sage Veda Vyasa

The Bhagavad Gita, meaning ‘The Song of the Supreme’, was
originally revealed by Veda Vyasa and scribed by Lord Ganesha.
Vyasa, also known as Badarayana and Krishna Dwaipayana,
is one of the seven Chiranjivins (Immortals), who are still in existence.
Vyasa compiled the Vedas into four distinct categories, for which
he is referred to as Veda Vyasa (in Sanskrit Vyasa means compiler).

The Eternal Truth

The Lord himself reveals the transcendental knowledge
to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.

The Bhagavad Gita talks about three important Yogic Paths as a means to attain the Supreme

  • Karma Yoga

    The Path of Action
    (Chapters 1-6)
  • Bhakti Yoga

    The Path of Devotion
    (Chapters 7-12)
  • Jnana Yoga
