- म्रियमाणं मृतं बन्धुं शोचन्ति परिदेविनः।
आत्मानं नानुशोचन्ति कालेन कवलीकृतम्॥ - mriyamāṇaṁ mṛtaṁ bandhuṁ śocanti paridevinaḥ|
ātmānaṁ nānuśocanti kālena kavalīkṛtam|| - The aggrieved mourn the dying or the dead relative. Alas, they do not mourn the self that is being swallowed by time every day.
